No pretend testing
This site does not claim hands-on testing it has not done. Accessory guidance is written as buyer's guidance: what a category is for, which features matter, and how products in it tend to fail. Where a page gives a view on a specific product, it says what that view is based on.
Commission does not set the verdict
Whether a link earns a commission is not a factor in whether something is recommended. The guides regularly say "skip this", including for whole categories, and recommend buying some items directly from Tesla, where no commission is paid.
Numbers
Tesla changes prices and program terms frequently. Rather than publish figures that will be wrong in a month, the guides explain what drives a cost and point you to the official source for the current number.
Safety
Nothing that defeats a safety system is recommended or linked, and high-current electrical equipment is only recommended from certified sources.
